                                                          MAI-KO-CHUM-PHAI FESTIVAL   Mai-Ko-Chum-Phai festival observed at Pawai Mukh Tai Khamyang Village.Mai-Ko-Chum-Phai the traditional religious festival of Tai community of Buddhist religion is observed at Pawai Mukh Tai Khamyang Village Buddha Monastery of Tinsukia district by the Tai-Khamyang community with day long programme on February 23. This festival is related with the supreme deliverance of lord Buddha. The six clans Ahom, Khamyang, Turung, Khamti, Phake, Aiton of Tai Community, Singphoo and Duwonia of Buddhist religion observed it, on the full moon day between January-February, two months before Buddha Purnima.
